My Lucky Day

Look at that!
Yes, that's exactly how I tripped!

I was walking down the stairs of the bridge,
chatting away happily,
and I swear I watched my steps!

Before I fell down on the ground,
I kind of saw it coming,
I knew I was going to fall somehow,
It felt weird.

I felt like I fell slowly to the ground,
Sort of like floating and "BAM"
Next minute before I knew,
I was already on the floor.

I didn't hurt myself, not at that moment.
Like I said, I fell 'slowly'
So I was able to prevent myself from kissing the ground
I touched the ground,
Then the next minute,
I bounced back up!
Seriously, real fast!
And some coins came out of nowhere
I picked it up
Ain't I lucky?

I'm sure there were people looking
from all around.
I was too embarrassed to even look around
After I got up, I just continued walking
Like nothing has happened

Didn't feel any pain,
Until I walked for awhile
and only realized..
I sprained my ankle!!

Hope it doesn't swell
Sunbathing tomorrow at the beach!

What makes you a grown up?

Have a license to drive?
You can make your own decision?
Old enough to take tobacco or booze?
When you can use vulgar words on others?
Or when your age is over some stupid numbers?

I'd say no, those don't make you a grown up. Maybe verbally you are considered one, but what about mentally? How can one be an adult when one has a mind of a 10yrs old? A 10yrs old kid only know how to think one way, and one way only. They're probably too young to go twist and turn, but I suppose some 10yrs old are pretty smart already nowadays.

People can be really ignorant and narrow minded, our world is changing and developing every minute. If you don't go along with it, by the end of the day, you are the one whose gonna be left behind. When that happens, who or what should you be blaming? The people, time or the world for going too fast? That would be stupid, wake up to your senses for heaven's sake!

Just how much I hate to be controlled
Makes me want to pull your tongue out!!

14th, July

FACTORY OUTLET - IRUMA MITSUI OUTLETPARK

Place I looked forward to the whole weekend
Right after lunch with the ladies
Went in the train, reached there after about 1hr30mins
So it was already 3plus almost 4pm

The place looked big from outside
A lot of designers clothings, bags and shoes

We went in every shoplots

From clothes to shoes to furnitures & household use

Got some scented sticks, couldn't wait to burn it

The weather was so hot

We were tired and so, went for ice-cream

I had blue salt ice cream, I thought it'd be the cooling kind

Who knows, its really salt! Salty ice-cream!

Quite weird and I don't think I like it.

Continued shopping..
I was a little bored till I came across Nike
Went in there, excited!

Walked around the lot
But didn't find anything I like

But couldn't just walk out without buying anything

Since I've come so far and took so much trouble

Saw the bikini, kinda like it but there was only pink

Tried it, bought it.

The ladies got hungry so while they went to eat,

I went Adidas
They got bikini too, and its 2 times cheaper than Nike's

And they have few colours including white
I was too lazy to try it on, so I bought the white one
Thought the size is the same as Nike's

Came home only found out, it can't be adjust one. Grr..

Ohh anyway, after buying the Adidas's,

I went back to Nike and gave it back, they refunded
So nice of them..

Was kind of disappointed with this trip

As I went so far and just bought a few items

Moreover, the shops closed at 8

No wonder this outlet not so many people

I guess its not that popular after all..

After a whole long day, was so so tired

Thought we were lucky when the train came

It has got big seats and looked really comfortable
Nobody went in but us.. We thought it was weird

Awhile later, the train security came to collect ticket

Had to pay extra since we didn't have it..
That's no wonder nobody came in with us

Reached home 10plus..

Starting to get really frustrated living in big city

Especially when I'm tired and its late
Everywhere just seems so far away..

Dinner was great

Since I have two cakes,
Then I'd both of them out then!
Magnificent steak,
Good refreshing beer,
Sweet melt-in-mouth cake,

Great dinner!!
Great presents!!

Cheers!

12th July, my day

You see, I always know I'm lucky to have such friends
On my 18th birthday this year,
though I'm here in Japan without them,
They're still able to touch my lil heart

Exactly this time last year,
I was at Mel's house,
They threw me a surprise party
Made me a pre-mix cake
Because Kristi spoiled the perfect one!
But who cares if its pre-mix or what,
Its the effort that counts, right?

But this year, I'm too far away to be thrown a surprise party!
Guess what they did?
They wrote me really sweet things!
At least to me, it is!!

May
May! Sweet as ever!
Wished me several times!
Thank you!!
I miss you too!!!

Kristi
Wrote me a really sweet blog
Thanks darling!!
I love you too!!
and I miss you too!!

Wern
As usual, funny girl
Thanks dear!!
Also, for the old old picture you put
Never failed to make me laugh at u!

Fei

The oldest among us all,
Always fair and nice
Always there to hear my frustrations
I love you too!!

I included their links there,

Check it out!
Also, thank you to those
Who sent me cards and greetings
It feels great to have people remember your birthday
However way you celebrate it,
It doesn't matter much
Because by the end of the day,
You know you still have great friends
With or without physically
But one thing for sure,
They're the one that I adore.

Thanks to my classmates for the birthday card,
There are so many languages in it!
Some even have funny drawings!! lol

Though I'm far away now from everybody back in my hometown,
But I guess I'll do great,
This is going to be the first year me celebrating without my family
So for that, I'm going to have a trip down to Gotemba!!
That's the factory outlet for the branded goods.
Can't wait!! Cant wait!!
Shop shop shop!! Thats gonna make me so happy!!

My day

Summer semester, first day
Missed my train, again
Reached school at 9, time where class suppose to start
Had to search for the class location on the board in the lobby
There were so many people there, still.
Don't know why weren't they in class

There were so many students' name and details!
( Which side should I start... left! )
That idiotic guy kept blocking, I wouldn't get irritated if I didn't see his face
But I did! so..
He had this 'act-smart' face, wore glasses
A mouth that was wide opened
( was already a lil irritated, gave him a look )

Then saw he had this sling bag, same colour as his shirt
Two of his hands cling on that bag, and ( I got more irritated! )
He was standing there, blocked my way so I moved to the other side
Somehow, he was in front blocking again!
It was so packed there and I was surrounded by people
So hot and started to sweat already ( began to feel very very irritated )
#*$!'#$%$?!?!? ( stared at him!! )
I don't think he knew also, he just continued to irritate me!!!

Found it anyway at last, its in building two and I didn't know which is.
Asked the dean and ooh! its the nice building next block
Class in 1st floor, so generally we'd just go up a floor right?
Went straight up, was already so late for class
There were no classes there, went up another floor
And I swear I saw 2/3 on the staircase wall
So obviously thought next is 2nd floor, but try looking and see
Nope, didn't find it. Did the same thing on 3rd and 4th..
Came back down Ground to go back lobby and ask
Apparently down the hallway, there were classes there
The number of the classes were almost close to mine
So apparently Ground is 1st floor!
My class is the last last one at the corner
Just next to the exit, so not so bad

Knocked knocked and went in
The class is so small! There was no more nice place to sit
Sat next to the white board, beside this guy
I didn't know he's deaf, didn't see the hearing kit he had on
It was his turn to do introduction..
"watkashuwae... ..( couldnt understand the rest )"
He couldn't pronounce his words properly
He looks fine though, but when it comes to talking..
I felt weird cause he'd write sometimes to answer the question
Whenever teacher ask him something,
Everyone else would just look down, controlling themselves from laughing I guess

Next class, I changed place, right opposite
Then only I noticed his hearing kit
I feel really sorry for him
Teachers had to speak slowly and let him read the lips
Isn't it bad to do that? I meant to treat him differently.
But also, if not, he wouldn't get what the teachers are saying
Break time, I went outside the exit and I was locked outside!
Waved to that guy to open the door
Ever since then, he kept coming to my place
Squat in front of me and talk to me
But I can't understand what he's saying!!
I'm abit scared of him actually.. Looks abit cuckoo from some angle
But don't know how to avoid him or ignore him.. help?

This is getting long but I gotta finish up about this lady sitting beside me
She's a counselor, also a Korean, married to a Japanese
When she speaks, its like mumbling aloud
Always try to 'act-smart'
And! She looks old
What's the meaning of dictation test?
- Transcribe what is spoken ON YOUR OWN!
She kept copying my answers, she could even go to the extent
Like moving my hands away or "can I see for awhile?"
She's annoying, and I'm not the only one who feels this way
I think the teachers feel it too
When she answers teachers' questions,
they'd pretend not to hear it, ~lol
She's nice, but annoying kills!

4hrs of Walking

Since I finished school early today
I thought I just go walk around Shibuya
Partly, I want to buy a microSD
It is really cheap, ad cheap as 980yen! about RM30 only!!
I saw the other day but I didn't buy
Thought I look for the same shop
I walked and walked, round and round
For 2hours, I still didn't find it
I don't know the shop name actually, I just remember the little board they displayed

But in between I came across a lot shops,
Shoes, clothes, candy, accessories, electric.....
I was so tempted to buy things!
Then I remember mum said "stop shopping!"
Everytime she comes online, I'd show her something new that I just bought, lol
I think I have a new habit now, I see things and I just feel like buying it
Although its nothing special sometimes, I just NEED to buy
I don't even know why I went in the shoe shop today
I already bought 2new pairs of shoes recently
Then I thought to myself, "I don't have slippers! I want!"
Good thing the shop didn't sell any nice slippers!
Then I continue going in those clothes shops,
From GAP to Uniqlo to blabla..
They displayed nice mannequins, very attractive!
But didn't see any nice clothes that I really like
Oh safe!
until I came to MNG..
Summer sale!!! Arrghh! Went straight in!!
But.. its a small shop so not much to see
But I really just need to buy something!
SALES!!! Everything is cheap!!

I know Kristi is going to scold me for this
For always buying same clothes only different colours
Went to the tops section, saw the same tops that I already have
There was this gorgeous salesgirl so I asked
"Is this all you have?"
"Hmm mm.."
I assumed she understand
"Then.. is there anymore sizes?"
"Hmm mm *smile"
"Ahh!! Size wa ari masu ka??"
"yi eh.. koko dake" ( Nope, here only )
"ohh okk, thank you"
I don't know which to take, since I already have them
Okay fine, I don't have this green with the words, this then!

Took it to the counter, same salesgirl
Since this MNG is small, thought maybe there's a bigger one
Asked her, and as she was naming the places
She just took up the pen, bent down and started writing on the paper
Well, I thought she's gonna write me the names
As I was looking down at the paper
Her boobs!! It was hard to miss!
It was so freaking big and as she bent, the whole thing were sort of popping out
The paper is just right in front of the boobs
Then she started drawing and explaining but I didn't even ask her to draw!
"So, this is the station..."
"Waiitt! Nevermind, thanks anyways =)"
I didn't think I can stand those balloons.

Then, went on to other shops
Was getting tired and since I couldn't find the 980 microSD,
Thought I might have seen it wrongly last time
As those in the electric shop are so much more expensive from 1980-7980yen
So I just get the cheapest one 1980
Not satisfied with what I have
Walked back to the station
At the station, I saw those small boxes hanging
"Could it be microSD? Let's take a look"
Went near the shop and wanted to knock myself on the head!!!
Its microSD on summer sale!!! and guess how much it is??
980!! 980!! damnit!! I just bought that stupid 1980 few minutes ago!!!!
#$&^%#%%@*?!!
Although that is not the shop I was looking for but I should have just waited
I might not find the shop today, but I might tomorrow right! Who knows!
If I were to be a little bit more patient and go back to the station!!!
%*$#%#$#!!
I went on speechless with myself then.
I do talk to myself in my head if you wonder how can I be speechless with myself.
What else more can I say? This is idiotic!

The stupid SD I have don't have a box!!!
Sometimes cheaper stuff is better!! Really.

Station game in school

7.40am sharp, when I opened my eyes and saw the time on my phone
I was still half awake, so wasn't really sure if I was right
Because if I was, I have exactly 10minutes to get ready and get out
"no no, I don't think its 7.40am, I didn't hear the alarm also! : )"
What was that about?
I was talking to myself, convincing myself and yeah I almost made it,
You see a smile at the end there? I did that.
"but what if it is? I better get up and check"
"eh! It is wei..!"
"oh wait, what's the day today?"
"maybe its not Monday yet"
Stood there to think for awhile, then heard noises from outside
"ah okla, its Monday"
"shit! That means no shower and breakfast?!"
( I can never get outta house without taking a shower )
"Ah!!!! Ok fine, just this time!"
( Tried hard not to get irritated with it )
So I went to school without taking shower,
but it's not too bad as I've had shower last night at 2,
washed my hair too.
I'd be fine as long as my hair is not dirty

I missed the 8.04 train anyways.
Actually I knew I was going to miss it
So I took a slow walk to the station
After all the rushing out of house thing
I figured I need to slow down a bit.
Took the 8.15's instead,
Surprisingly I wasn't late at all and less crowded
Next time should just take that
Instead of going into the train with thousands of people pushing and sticking together.
Its really bad when the girls get aggressive and start pushing and squeezing
Sometimes I just don't get them!
The section is already full and yet they still want to be stubborn and stuff themselves in!!
You know its so much better riding in the normal section where the guys can use.
There are 2types, ladies only and the for all.
At least the guys don't push when they see ladies, BUT
You gotta have to stand riding all the way with those big bodies around you.

Got to school, saw many new faces
Is is the school or Japanese people who like to have their things sorted out step by step?
Got to the lobby entrance, they put 2tables right between the entrance.
It's called NO.1
The guy at counter NO.1
" ehhh? anatawa kyo atarashii..." (surprised to see me)
He couldnt find my name in the list (kept thinking why am I here on new enrollment day)
"Ahh Ata Ata! Jya, ni ban de itte kudasai.." (points to NO.2 next to it)
I got to wait for my turn which is no48, as it was only at no13
(shouldn't have rushed if I knew I can come later)
By the way, there was this guy just right after my turn
He has the lightest blonde hair almost white
His skin is very fair almost white
He also wore a white shirt!
I don't know where is he from if you want to ask
Sat in the lobby and wait..
Thought I'd read the grammars while waiting so I did..
While doing so...
"Jessica san!"
Looked up and saw this teacher that never taught me before.
"Ohayoo!! Kyo wa shiken desuka?" (Morning! You having test today?)
: ohayoo! uhh hai! :
"Dai jyou bu? Ganbate ne!"
: hai! arigatoo :
Then she smiled and went on with what she was doing
That is showing these new students how to go upstairs after they finished at NO.5 (see down there)
- Guy staff at counter NO.2
"no.44? nobody? no.45 then. nobody? no.46!! eh?! no.47!!!!..."
At last, I'm up next I thought. Stood up, ready to go.
That cheeky one, he saw me standing up and didn't want to turn the number!
( smiled cheekily )
He tried to turn it and so I walked up a little then he turned it back!
( laughed at me )
What did I do? I did =.= in a joking kind of way
He did it a few times and grinned!!!
Then he said "ahhhh no48 desu!! Jessica san!! =D"
Now everyone knows Jessica.

Next.. moved on to counter NO.3
Staff there took out a paper from my documents and asked me to move on
to NO.4 just right next!
Had them look at some papers and nexttttt...
At last! Last counter - NO.5, at least I thought thats the last
Lady there asked some questions which I didn't pay attention to then she said
"Please proceed to 4th floor and go to NO.1" ( what?! More counters?!! )
Took the stairs instead since every new students were using the lift
Each and every floor I passed, there'd be someone there!
" Ahh Jessica san!! Ohayoo gozaimasu! Ganbate ne!!"
" Jessica san!! Ganbate ganbate!!"
" Jessica san!! Gengki desuka? dai jyou bu?"
... alot of phrases of sort
"Thank you and smiled" then ran all the way up till 4th floor
It felt like a station game as I was running and had those people cheering
So there, NO.1, I had to take theory
NO.2 speaking and NO.3 then NO.4....
Everyone of them in different parts of the floor.
Each time you finish one test, someone will bring you to the next one
Then someone from the next will bring you in
We also know our result instantly
Oh and I didn't know I don't have class today
I finished everything at 10plus

AND
Guess what people?!
Jessica is going up a level starting tomorrow!!
*Cheers!

Summer Semester starting 7thJuly

Back to school tomorrow after a week long holiday. What did I do during the holidays? Oh well, nothing much other than sitting in front of the computer, doing the daily necessity (eat, sleep, drink, shower..). I can count all of them with my fingers actually *laughs*, but I have a life to live, good enough.

Tomorrow is going to be a new semester, July semester.
So I have this examination that I have to take.
I'm still at chapter16 in this red book I'm holding, and guess what?
The exam I'm having tomorrow is until chapter24.
'b i g - r o u n d - o f - a p p l a u s e - f o r - m e, q u i c k !'
Wait to hear just how I go through it.

Wasting precious time

At last, I'm done! I'm done!
So all together, to get this colourful blog done, I spent more than 20hours staring at those codes and had no idea what to do with it.

Special thanks to Anna:
Then when I was about to give up on it, Anna came to the rescue. Thank you so so much. I just threw all the complicated codes to her, let her do for me. I am very dependent when it comes to this, of course my best friend here had to go through all the trouble to get it done for me. Well you see, she finds it weird and hard to edit too, so its not entirely my fault to not be able to get it done.

Before I send her the codes, she.. however thought I don't know notepad makes things easier
A. ♥:
u... save the current editing codes into notepad
save it
then u change back the one in ur blog to the ready made templates by blogspot.com
then u copy it and save it in a notepad
ジェ シ カ
thats what Im doing to do ma.
A. ♥
:$ ohk
i go make milo and eat lunch in front of pc for u
see la so good
She's nice all right, who would make milo and eat lunch in front of a pc for me?
Then the hard work went on till finally we're all done and I was telling her, luckily I don't have OCD for this. At least I still can stand looking at some imperfections of the page

Thank you, Anna and big kiss for you!
Oh well, her boyfriend said she can't "mwah" me, because its only for him.
Hey Anna boyfriend (u're gonna be this from now on, note:there's no 'S), I don't care! *smiles

4.45am, sunrise

My first RAINBOW
Oh! Sunrise!
Guess what I'm doing?
[ not looking at the sunrise ]
.
.
I am finally almost done setting up the whole theme
After 10 hours!
But of course I did some other things also in between while doing that
Well, I still don't know how to paste my contents in my archieve
I'm getting really tired now
So I'm just going to sleep
Shall continue this tomorrow..

The update

Well okay I know I haven't been updating this blog for a long long time. Well, I had to wait for the internet connection for more than a month, they're so advanced and yet when it comes to this, they're so damn slow. So before this, I had to always steal my neighbor's line and good thing the connection was really fast, even at only 15%, I can do the download at quite a high speed. So finally with all the waiting, I have my own now, been having it for quite some time now, and I'm very happy with the speed! I can download an episode of series in less than 10minutes rather than back home, took me half day or sometimes whole day to finish! My area's connection was really slow, too bad my family has to continue to suffer with that. Lucky me.

So as everyone already knew, I'm in Japan now, taking University Preparatory Course or otherwise Japanese Language in Tokyo School of Japanese Language. Actually its kind of interesting to learn a foreign language, so I actually thought of taking other languages. Maybe after I master Japanese! I don't know if I want to go through what my friends going through right now - college. Difficult subjects, exams, good grades, assignments bla bla bla, had enough of that during high school. But its not like high school wasn't fun, it was alot of fun, only because I chose the wrong field - science. And again, I like science but I just don't like being tested on how I understand the facts.

Anyway, since I've been here, I've been getting alot of similar questions so why don't I just write it down here. It should answers all the questions you people have in mind

#1 -
How's life there?
Life's great here! I kinda like the feeling of living alone, shopping alone and doing things on my own, my way. I can just don't talk if I feel like it so I just put on my music really loud and just go into my own world. Also I can act like I don't understand what they're saying when they speak to me. But hey, I'm not anti-social, just don't think I need to speak sometimes. *smiles ( you people, dont comment on this )

#2 -
Homesick?
Oh well, not really. I still go on Skype with my family every night. Or before, email, my parents been really wonderful I should say. But I do miss my room alot, I remember when I first got here, every morning I wake up, I had to take a little time to think where am I because I thought I was still in my own room. But after looking around for awhile then only I'd realise "oooh! I'm not home!"

#3 -
Any new friends there?
Well yeah, all those foreigners so I got to know many different cultures and my geography is improving! Simply because every time I know someone new, I'd google their country in Google Earth. So the map in my mind is expanding!

#4 -
How's the people there? Is the girls there hot?
Uhh, I think its the same all over the world, there are nice people and vice versa. Only people here mostly well mannered, especially the older generation but they can sometimes be real bitchy or is it the look? All wrinkled up and grumpy. Who knows! Also, I think they always have long phrases for almost everything, for example the workers in the shops have to say "welcome phrase" when a customer walks in and when customer walks out, "thank you phrase". Additional words also used to make conversation more polite, oh well sometimes I just don't understand why must they complicate the whole matter. Why can't a thank you just be thank you. Moving on the girls, there are alot hot chicks here, especially in the mall, all the salesgirls are really hot, so far I haven't seen one ugly salesgirl. But this is not a fantasy land, of course there are also ugly girls, and I've seen alot in train. Some of them can just sleep with the mouth opened, or with something ugly which I couldn't have imagined. As we all know, Japan has been famous for its fashion and their pretty girls make up. Just didn't think I'd see people looking that bad in public. One day, I shall have their faces captured and I'd post it up here.

#5 -
What do you eat everyday?
Urrh, sometimes I buy bento (ready packed meal) or lunchbox, there's alot of that here cater for the busy workaholics. Sometimes I cook, since I don't know how to cook varieties, I always boil noodles (soba/somen) to go with my favourite sashimi or meat (beef/chicken/pork) or just instant food. Sometimes I'd eat out at the restaurant alone, just a quiet meal (I didn't mean the surrounding, they can sometimes be really noisy). So far, I've tried the Italian Restaurant, Big Boy steak house, Lakshimi Indian Restaurant (the curry is really good compared to the one I had at another shop last week with Naan that tasted weird, Lakshimi's chef from Dubai so real indian style), Chinese Restaurant (steamboat, Beijing's) and of course Japanese food (Kyoto's, Unagi House, soba, ramen...). All those are big meals that I had, there's also little snacks that I sometimes eat like Takoyaki (taco balls), Okashi (Japanese sweets/dessert), cake, ice-cream... and lots of jellies!

#6 - How do you go to school and how long you take everyday?
Express train/subway. From my house to the station is about 5-8minutes walk, then the express train takes about 23minutes to reach Shibuya, Tokyo. From the station there, another 10-15minutes walk to my school. So total up of 40-45minutes for me to get to school everyday. I do lots of walking here, usually the places are really big but somehow I always have my way back to the station. Normally I'm a road noob and I don't have much sense in directions *blushed

#7 - Are you used to the life there?
Oh well, everything goes a little faster here. But its all for the best, at least when the train timetable says its coming on 8.04, it really does. No delay, or you shall miss it. Other than catching up with the time, I'm fine with the rest.

#8 - Are you happy? Regret?
Yes, I'm happy, and no regrets.

That's all for now.
