Mondays

The Mondays, I love the Mondays!

I don't know why, but somehow I just love it. Not only it gives me this fresh mind to start the week with and also gives me a reason not to laze around. I just don't get lazy on the Mondays, I finish my work, I do my chores, I clean my stuff.. You name it, I'll do it. Probably it is also because BIG TEST is near and I just don't want the days to go so fast. Sometimes I just wish that I could always stay on Monday and not move on.

It seems like almost everyone thinks that Monday is the worst day of the week, so that makes me the only one and also the odd one since I love it. It used to be horrible for myself, especially after having so much fun and rest during weekends and got to force myself up early Monday morning just to go to school. A friend of mine used to skip school every Monday, but I see that she's changed. So try not to make it so hard for yourself and learn to love it!

It could be a day your boss finally decided to raise your salary or make you the manager after enjoying himself over the weekend and thought to himself what's the point of working so hard and not have fun since life's short? It could also be some workaholics who don't have many friends and who never like the weekends, cause then Monday will be their happiest day of the week after two days of having their minds and hands free from work. Or it could be some office boy who secretly admires their boss's daughter but never had the guts to ask her out, so after having his long weekend waiting to see her, finally Monday came and their dreams fulfilled.

There are many more other reasons to love The Mondays, so look for yours and have great Mondays ahead!

Happy Birthday, Jessica!

This entry is fully dedicated to all my friends who celebrated my birthday with me on the 12th July. Although it was just a small little party with a few of them, but I was happy enough, not that I'm someone who's easily satisfied
[ =) remember that ], but having friends like them just totally make my day!

First of all, let me share my word of appreciation to everyone of them for giving me such a great time the other day.

Lets start with the previous day 11th July, Anna suggested a fruit party which means everyone has to bring a type of fruit and so everyone agreed to that. But I guess I've forgotten that it will be my birthday the next day so I happily asked if we could change to another day as that Thursday we didn't have much free periods. But of course, she insisted. Kristi then suggested to bring food, and she was gonna make avocado chicken [YUMMY!!]. So that night, I prepared cheesy pasta, surprisingly it came out nicely and delicious! HAHA. That doesn't happen often. Believe it or not, we always have more priorities on OUR special day. 12th July, it was a bright morning and the temperature was just nice. Everyone liked my pasta! HAHA! and I got this really big banana soft toy from feicui & Sunny, its one of those smooth furry type, so nice! As usual, my dirty minded friends warned me not to make it dirty.. =.=" As for Melissa, she insisted me on going to her house that night. So I went.. They wanted to go Ananda, but end up, they ordered in, Pizza Hut's Pizza..

After that, they brought out the cake they made! Melissa and Kristi made me a cake! They're really sweet! the cake looked SOOO good with the candles on. There I am, repeating my list of wishes in my mind.

They asked me to take out the last candle with my mouth, so when I was about to do that, ANNA!! She pushed my face into the cake!! Yeahh, they all laughed after that.. took picture too.

But we were stuffed with pizza already, nobody really had one whole piece of cake. So the cake was made the punishment for the game we play. Whoever who loses gotta eat the cake & drink water/liquor. The replacement of May [she sucks in the game =D], Sunny kept losing all the time. Gave us a chance to laugh our lungs out! Believe me May, if u read this, she's worse than you a hundred times. HAHA!
The night ended with so much laughter and I guess everyone had a great time! =D
We went on home at 11 something and went to school the next morning.

So Wern, Anna, Mel, Kris & Sunny.. THAANNK YOOU so much.
Kisssesss!!
Of course, for those who couldn't make it, I also wanna thank them. Even a simple birthday wish meant the world to me.
One last thing, Jessica is now legally 17!!! Hooray!

The film

Beware the stare of Mary Shaw,

She had no children, only dolls,

And if you see her in your dreams,

Be sure you never, ever scream.

Sounded familiar? Yess, its from the the horror movie, Dead Silence. I managed to watch it yesterday with my fellow friends. Well, its like the usual english horror movie. If you don't get what I meant by that, let me explain it. You see, Korean or Japanese horror movie is always about some girls who got abused or being taken advantage of when they were alive. So after that, they come back and take their revenge. Also, always ended with some stupid ending or NO ending at all! Thats their style. Thai, its more to the girls who got killed or died of accusations. Then they could be really scary when they came back to get their revenge. But the westerners, they're bit different from us Asians, they do movies that involve thinking and its usually not that ghostly scary that make you jump. But scare you mentally. For their ending, you need to use your own creativity to think. Thats more or less it.

It is the ghost story in Ravens Fair about this lady named Mary Shaw, a ventriloquist. She loves the dolls she made like her own children and see them as a real being. One day during her show, a young boy embarassed her by pointing out that her doll isn't a real thing that he saw her lips moving when the doll was talking. After that, the boy went missing. Being accused of the murder of that boy, she was hunted down and killed by the vengeful townspeople who cut her tongue out. Then she was buried along with all her 101 "children". One of em' named Billy, the almost perfect doll of all who later on mysteriously sent to the newlywed couple Jamie and his wife, Lisa. For decades, the town has been plagued by death, dolls from the grave have gone missing and families are found gruesomely murdered with their tongue pulled out and their jaws ripped open, then their bodies organized like family potrait. Jamie, returned home seeing her wife murdered with her tongue torn out and her jaw ripped open has been the first suspect for the case. The doll, Billy leads him back to Ravens Fair to reveal the mystery of her death and to clear his name upon his wife's murder.

- Ryan Kwanten as Jamie. Laura Regan as Jamie's wife Lisa. Also, Bob Gunton as Jamie's father.

As I said, English horror movie is always different. In this, you wouldn't imagine that Jamie's dad was already dead and that the wife is actually the perfect doll. Well, the movie is not bad. You could also see Jigsaw's dolls from Saw. Think everyone should check it out.
